HOW TO RESIZE YOUR MILA WATCH

Step One:

Start by turning the silver nozzle on the resizing tool anti-clockwise to open it. This will allow space for the watch to sit comfortably in. The watch tool is used like a vice to hold the watch in place to remove the pins.
We recommend unclipping the watch clasp. This should help you remove the links with ease.

Step Two:

The most important step: you need to discover the correct side of the pin to push out first. This is a vital side. If you push the pin in the wrong direction, it can make the links incredibly hard to remove and you will then need to take it to a watch repair shop with more tools to help you. One side of the watch displays a more 'flush' pin with a split head. The other side displays a pin sitting further in the hole with a circular head.

Step Three:

Once you have discovered the correct side that you need to push from, place the watch in the vice and aligne the pin of the resizing tool with the hole of the link in the band you wish to remove. Once you have correctly placed and aligned your watch in the resizing tool, you can commence turning the nozzle in a clockwise direction. Keep turning the nozzle until you push the pin out as far as you can.
If you find it a bit tight to twist through - this is completely normal. Continue until you feel the release.

Step Four:

Once you have removed that pin, you can place that to one side. Keep this safe, as you will need it to reconnect the band once you have removed the links.
Once you have decided how many links to remove, repeat the above steps.

Step Five:

Once you have removed the links, you can proceed with reconnecting the watch. Start by aligning the links back together perfectly allowing the pin to push back through.
If you turn the watch on its side, you should be able to see straight through to the other side of the hole while you hold the links together.

Step Six:

While using one hand to hold the links aligned perfectly, you will then take one of the pins you just removed and slide it back through the empty hole.
You will only be able to push the small rounded end of the pin through the hole first. The larger split end of the pin will need to be pushed securely into place with the tool.

Step Seven:

Once you have the watch band linked back together with the loose pin, place the watch in the resizing tool vice with the split end of the pin facing inwards to align with the pin of the resizing tool.

Step Eight:

Lastly, turn the silver nozzle of the resizing tool in a clockwise direction until you firmly push the split end of the pin into place.
Note: The pin shouldn't be protruding at all and should be flash with the side of the watch.

Resizing Tip:

It doesn't matter which side you take your links out of, however, if you do require more than 2 links to be removed we recommend taking them from both sides of the watch band.
This will help ensure it sits nice and evenly on your wrist
