In Conversation with Cendré is a series designed to showcase the incredible girls in our Cendré Circle. We’ll sit down with our favourite creators to get a glimpse into their lives, their style, and the inspirations that shape their personal creative vision.
We had the pleasure of sitting down with one of our long time muses Signe Emilie Olesen to find out more about her style, inspirations, and what shapes her personal creative vision.
Go-to Copenhagen recommendations?
Copenhagen has so many beautiful places if you appreciate good design. Ruby Atelier is one of my biggest sources of inspiration. I love how the apartment brings together contemporary art, historic furniture and sculptural objects in such a harmonious way. It reminds me why I'm drawn to minimalism and the beauty of letting the details speak for themselves.
Another favourite is Sacrecoeur Design Store. The space is filled with carefully curated vintage pieces, but what makes it truly special is the warmth of Pernille and her daughter Fine – they welcome everyone like family.
I also love browsing the uniquely curated vintage clothes at Paloma Vintage, and whenever I'm looking for interiors, inspiration or just a coffee or light lunch, I always stop by Louise Roe, TADAIMA and Tekla. For dinner or breakfast, Bar Amore and Amator are among my favourites. And during the summer, nothing beats ending the day with a swim at Kalvebod Brygge or Papirøen.
