What is your current lip combo?
I have been using the Hourglass Shape & Sculpt lip liner in True Chestnut. It is a dark one but it looks so chic every time and also will stay on the entire day. On top, Violette FR Bisou Balm in Bon Bon Myrtille - it makes your lips insanely soft. I use both of them as a blush and eyeshadow most days and it makes my makeup so seamless.
Who is your ultimate style inspiration and why?
My ultimate style inspiration - honestly, I would say places act as a greater inspiration than people specifically. Being able to travel so much I get to see how each city expresses itself through style, and how it becomes a sort of visual language that reflects the place. Every time I visit Paris I am in awe of the modern take of classic and feminine silhouettes you see at every corner - the sharp coats, the undone hair, the silhouettes that feel both classic and quietly subversive. It always urges me to source more classic pieces from vintage stores. To name a few creators who embody this beautifully, I’d say @mariegaguech, @alexachung, @accidentalinfluencer and @danielaaldanna - I love their playful yet elegant take on fashion!
Go-to NYC food recommendation?
Okay so - the vodka pepperoni pizza slice from artichoke Basille's is my favourite (I would order it like 5 times a week). There are two really cute spots on the lower east side called Ha's snack bar which is elevated Vietnamese small plates and another place called Spicy Village where you can sit out on the street and eat spicy noodles and soup dumplings. For an afternoon bite in the sun, I'd go to Bar Pitti and order the Pappardelle alla Fiesolana with a glass of wine.
What was your favourite piece from the collection we shot?
I LOVE the Soho Watch in Gold, it is so chic and timeless and goes with any outfit!
What's your go-to fashion hack for elevating an outfit?
I think mostly just have fun and play around with the outfit! I always love adding a vintage piece into an outfit because each item is so unique but also exempt from trends and therefore inherently more elevated. Wear something the way it isn't meant to be worn, add some layers, mix some materials.
